Meet Sarina Wang, an #APIPowerfulWoman and a third-year Electrical Engineering student at the University of Melbourne. Sarina is studying a Bachelor of Science alongside her Master of Electrical Engineering and intends on specialising in low-carbon power systems. She is currently employed as a Student Assistant at European Energy Australia, and supports the Grid Connection Manager with connecting projects to the grid. Sarina finds fulfillment in having a positive impact with the work she does, especially with the target towards net zero by 2050. When asked about her experience in the API's Powerful Women Leadership Program, Sarina said "Through [the Program] I've been able to speak to a lot of other women and hear their stories, and they've given me some good advice that I can take into my future career. It's been really good to see other women, because at uni, I'm one of only a few girls in my classes, so I don't really get to speak to other women like me."
