Founded in 2014 by Karin Stierlin, a seasoned educator with over a decade of experience in sexual and reproductive health, Taboobreaker® was born out of a need for innovative, evidence-based learning tools for young people. Karin's vision was driven by her frustration with the traditional approaches to teaching about sexuality & risk reduction, which often left crucial topics shrouded in taboo.

Taboobreaker® is an international, non-for-profit association dedicated to empowering youth to navigate their sexual & reproductive health with confidence and safety. We pioneer modern, digital tools designed to support the transition into adulthood.
🌍𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡
Starting with our first branch in Switzerland, Taboobreaker® expanded its mission globally, establishing a legally registered not-for-profit company in Cape Town, South Africa, in 2021. This expansion addresses the critical need for comprehensive sexual health education in regions with significant gaps.
