[#Galileo for Good] 💚 One week, 400 makers (students, associations, technology publishers) top time! 👏 The launch took place at the Palais des Glaces on Monday 10 June. The aim? To learn while having fun, discover tools and technologies, and be curious and creative. 🗣️ Two conferences took place: ‘Rethinking travel: the Mollow entrepreneurial experience’, led by Chiara Pellas (Mollow), and ‘Eco-conception and design: how to combine aesthetics and sustainability in digital?’, led by Émilie Pierre-Desmonde from Maddyness, James Martin and Léonce Madzou. ⏳ The 300 future experts in digital strategy had 4 days to create a prototype to meet the needs of a positive-impact association, using innovative technology. On arrival, the students presented 92 prototypes for the benefit of 12 impact projects, using solutions proposed by the 8 partner publishers. Former students and members of the public flocked to the stands to discover the achievements of Maker Week 2024. 🎉 To round off this intense week, Digital Campus Paris organised a festive evening in the Startup Garage. The impact makers were able to celebrate their successes and exchange ideas in a convivial atmosphere. The evening ended with the presentation of the public's prize, rewarding the visitors' favourite project: Valentin Le Roux, Valentin Garcia and Quentin Dje. 🦾 We're proud of this great event. [#GalileoforGood] 💚 Yellow Day (the happiest day of the year) celebrated to talk about environment with smile! 🌟 This 20 of June, we organised in collaboration with ESG Act a moment of conviviality and learning at our French head office. 🐝 A "BeeWrap" workshop was led by Anoosheh Babaei and Alice F. where participants discovered how to create and use these reusable beeswax food wrappers, an eco-friendly alternative to plastic film and aluminium. Participants left with their own BeeWraps, ready to adopt this sustainable solution in their daily lives. 🍫 Nadège Bagot, a lecturer at ESG Act, delighted participants with a gourmet workshop on ethical and responsible chocolate. Participants have enjoy the subtleties of chocolate while learning about the importance of more respectful consumption, by asking themselves about the origins and labels of chocolates. 🌞 A festive occasion! We were delighted to combine education, sustainability, indulgence and well-being during "the happiest day of the year". Thank you to all our colleagues in the support services who took part and made this event so special! Well done and a big thank you to the ESG Act teams, to Jason MEREL, and to Nadège Bagot for hosting this event. #YellowDay #WeAreGalileo #ESGAct #Smile

[#ExperienceGalileo] 🙌 Work-study contract, a springboard for young people to develop their careers, and we're proud of the students who have made up our Galileo teams within the Group this year! 🎓 On Tuesday 25 June, an important morning took place to get together, exchange ideas and consolidate our beautiful and dynamic community of work-study students and above all to mark the end of their year with us. 🌟 The day began with a warm welcome where work study students were able to share their experiences within our teams. They then took part in a stimulating quiz with questions on general knowledge and others specific to our group. Finally, the participants were given the opportunity to find out more about the jobs within our Group and to take part in a job dating event, which gave them a better understanding of the opportunities available to them with us. 🗣️ Members of the Galileo teams came to meet our young people and share their inspiring professional and personal experiences, making the morning even richer. 🎉 We are proud of our work-study students and the valuable contribution they make to our teams every day. This special event celebrates their contribution, and highlights the importance of work-study programmes as a stepping stone for young people into their professional careers. 🤝 Thank you to all the work-study students and speakers for your contribution. And well done to all the team who organised this memorable day! 🚀 We hope that our work-study students have benefited from their experience with us to meet some wonderful people, to put their theoretical learning into practice on the ground, and to develop solid skills to enable them to shine and adapt when entering the job market. [#ExperienceGalileo] 🙌 A look back at the "Itinérance(s) 2" exhibition in the beautiful gallery of the Centre d'architecture, d'environnement et d'urbanisme de Nanterre, CAUE 92, by the first-year students in the Bachelor Art & Image programme at Atelier de Sèvres in Paris! 🌿 For the second year running, they have brought to life the exhibition "Itinérance(s) 2 Chemin de l'île" based on a workshop led by photographer Laure Vasconi. With a focus on ecology, this adventure enabled the students to imagine their projects by exploring the Chemin de l'Île area on the banks of the Seine, a space where the river meets the city, between landscape and industry, nature and society. 🗺 An artistic experience that culminated in an exhibition on 23 May, featuring a wide variety of styles and techniques. In addition to the photographic works, two documentary films made by the students were shown, further enhancing the experience for the large number of visitors. 🏆 We're proud of this initiative and the Atelier de Sèvres x #CAUE92 collaboration. Congratulations and thank you to everyone who made this project possible and who have supported these young artists: Laure Vasconi (photographer and project director), Michaël Mouyal (graphic design), Matthias Pasquet (silver laboratory), Valerie Le Guern (reproduction), Anna Malagrida, Sylvester Engbrox (Bachelor Art & Image Coordinators) and to the #CAUE92 supervisory team, Laure Waast and @Yasmine Tandjaoui. 👏 And above all, congratulations to all the students for their commitment and for sharing their talent: @Jade Cala, Manon Charlot, @Zoé Duval, @Zoë Lenthal, @Edward Le Tan, Luisa Martin--Galicia, @Gabrielle Quesnel, Wandrille Simulin, @Paloma Sirven, Vincent Somon, @Judith Soulages. See you next year for the 3rd edition! :) #AtelierDeSèvres #Paris #CAUE_92 #Art&Image #WeAreGalileo
