The KhairKhwah brand was created to increase the uptake of family planning across Pakistan and reduce the overall fertility rate. The brand, KhairKhwah, means well-wisher. Its powerful, consistent, and relatable voice has tackled social taboos, engaged communities in the most remote parts of Pakistan, sparked a nationwide conversation about a subject not normally talked about and promoted family planning practices, products, and services. The balance between population and resources has become crucial due to the tumultuous increase in Pakistan’s population. This balance can only be achieved through effective family planning and access to family planning methods. Khairkhwah is assisting the Government of Pakistan in bridging the gap between population and resources by advocating for family planning through multifold of communications. We’ve successfully reached over a 100 million people and have assisted in increasing the contraception prevalence rate and a drop in national fertility rate. Pakistan, despite being a nation already struggling to provide resources to its massive population of 243 million, keeps growing at an alarming rate.
