  • Incredible progress is being made at St John's CE Academy! Bouygues UK has been appointed to lead this build for the Department for Education in Grove, Oxfordshire. The £28.2m project is being built alongside the already completed primary school in Grove on the Wellington Gate Development, and will be the first all-through school (Nursery to Year 11) in the local area, teaching around 600 pupils. As part of its commitment to both education and sustainability, Bouygues UK is using low carbon materials as part of the build, including a cross-laminated timber frame. The team is employing an enhanced quality construction approach through consistent off-site manufacturing, to reduce waste and defects. The two-storey building will feature a green roof with photovoltaic panels. The grass playing fields and MUGA will also have extensive SUDs (sustainable draining systems) featuring attenuation, swales and porous parking areas. The buildings will also be clad in brickwork and timber panelling with feature aluminium framed entrances. We can't wait to see the project continue to progress throughout 2025! #BuildingForLife #TimberConstruction #DfE

  • We are thrilled to see the steel frame going up so quickly at the new Ambulatory Diagnostic Centre (ADC) we are building at West Middlesex University Hospital! Only a month ago, we shared the completion of the ground floor slab so some incredible progress has been made by the team on site at this transformative five-storey building for the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Once complete, this facility will offer crucial diagnostic and treatment services for cancer, renal conditions, and imaging to residents in Hounslow, Richmond, and Ealing. The development will prioritise sustainability with its all-electric design and will include a state-of-the-art education and training facility to support staff development and retention. We look forward to seeing this project continue to progress at pace throughout 2025! #healthcareconstruction #futureofhealthcare #buildingforlife
