Balfour Beatty plc have announced the delivery of another key milestone on the M25 Junction 10 improvement project with the demolition of the second of the two old gyratory bridges. “The M25 successfully reopened ahead of schedule following the demolition during last weekend’s fifth and final full closure between Junctions 10 (Wisley) and 11 (Chertsey). This marks a significant milestone for the project, which when complete aims to improve connectivity, reduce congestion and provide safer journeys. We extend our recognition to National Highways, the project team and supply chain partners who worked tirelessly throughout the weekend to ensure the M25 reopened safely and on time.”

Vistry Group has exchanged contracts with Milton Keynes City Council to create a new 930-home village to the east of Newport Pagnell. “The £270m Tickford Fields development will offer a mix of affordable and sustainable homes, with 31% of the properties dedicated to affordable housing.   The development will feature energy-efficient designs, ample green spaces, play areas, sports pitches, and even an on-site Skills Academy, providing valuable opportunities for local residents.   We look forward to bringing much-needed housing to Tickford Fields and contributing to the creation of a vibrant, sustainable community.”

HG Living Have announced the establishment of a new partnership with M&G Real Estate to develop a 504 bed purpose built student accommodation (‘PBSA’) development in Stratford, East London. “N16 Stratford has a Gross Development Value of £135m and is situated in the heart of Stratford, home to several well-established and accredited universities. The state-of-the art scheme comprises 504 beds across two blocks reaching 10 and 18 storeys. The project will also include over 1,500 sqm of high-quality amenity space for students, including roof terraces and courtyards. N16 is targeting an EPC rating of A and a BREEAM rating of Outstanding. Plymouth City Council share plans to regenerate Plymouth city centre. “It’s set to reach a whole new level as we join forces with Homes England to deliver the ambition to create 10,000 new homes and kickstart a transformational regeneration programme.     The regeneration of the city centre and surrounding area has a key role to play in the Growth Alliance Plymouth programme to deliver the housing and skills needed to meet demand as major investment is made at Devonport Dockyard.     The plans to be considered by the Cabinet on Monday include the latest on the regeneration of the Civic Centre, which will see City College Plymouth create a new blue green skills hub offering 60 courses.”
