We're pleased to announce that our Infrastructure Services team has been awarded a multi-million-pound gas pipeline diversion project by Cadent Gas Limited, in Ulverston, Cumbria. ULIS will install the new 850-metre 12” diversion in heavy wall steel pipe, parallel with the existing pipeline. As a complex solutions provider, ULIS will complete the civil and mechanical installation of the diversion, ensuring minimal disruption to the surrounding area and maintaining safety standards.  Once this new pipeline is operational, the existing pipeline will be decommissioned. This will ensure no impact on gas supply while the work takes place, and Cadent can be confident of ensuring a long-term safe supply of gas to the local area. We had a fantastic evening on Friday at Yorkshire Water's WaterAid dinner, raising vital funds for the charity, which helps to deliver clean water and sanitation to some of the world’s most vulnerable communities. We are pleased to announce that our Property Services team has been awarded a £36m responsive repairs and voids contract with SNG (Sovereign Network Group)! This achievement marks the beginning of a five-year contract, valued at £7.2m per annum. Starting in April 2025, the ULPS team will be responsible for delivering day-to-day responsive repairs, void repairs and planned maintenance. This win further strengthens our commitment to improving homes and providing exceptional services, and we’re excited to continue building strong relationships within the sector. We were delighted to attend Southern Water's WaterAid ball in Brighton on Friday evening to raise vital funds for the charity, which helps to deliver clean water and sanitation to some of the world′s poorest people.   We often take a sustainable water supply for granted, but across the world, one in nine people don't have clean water close to their homes. Thanks to those who attended the charity ball, we can be one step closer to WaterAid's goal of a world where everyone, everywhere, has safe water and sanitation by 2030.   The evening was also a fantastic opportunity to connect with colleagues from across the water sector.
