“The drivers of innovation in the next 18 months sit at the intersection of technology and culture…and the unlock for the change will come from 3 different behaviors: 1️⃣ Curiosity: Make the connections - always. 2️⃣ Bravery: Don’t ever age. Reinvent. Time and time again. 3️⃣ Be human: Technology is an enabler. But the innovation will only ever mean anything if it speaks directly to a human need.” - Damian Symons, CEO, M&C Saatchi Consulting Thank you to our clients, featured speakers and the M&C Saatchi Group team for inspiring us across a week packed with endless creativity and innovative thinking. Enjoy the full recap below highlighting M&C Saatchi Group’s favourite talks from Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2024!
Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity 2024 wrap 🦁 What a week! We are back and (almost) rested after an epic week at Cannes Lions to share our highlights from the festival. This year was a special one, because for the first time, we showed up in Cannes as one M+C Saatchi Group. With creativity and innovation bursting out of the Croisette, it was hard to choose our favourite talks, but we managed to whittle it down to our top 10. And that's a wrap! Enjoy!

Our Global CEO, Zaid Al-Qassab, M&C Saatchi Group hosted a Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity panel featuring Sam McAlister famed for the explosive Prince Andrew scoop which rocked the Royal Family, Alia Kemet, CMO, Shipt, Andrew Tindall, SVP Global Partnerships, System1 and Nadja Bellan-White (she/her/ella), CEO, SS+K M&C Saatchi. The session explored the art of storytelling in an era of attention fatigue and our M&C Saatchi Consulting CEO, Damian Symons shares key takeaways from the fascinating conversation: ▪ Truth trumps drama in storytelling. ▪ Keep it tight. There’s a diminishing return the longer you take. ▪ Don’t be a format snob. We need to be flexible on format and depth to reach different audiences. ▪ Step out of your comfort zone and tell stories through the lens your audience relates to. ▪ It’s a game of jeopardy. People need to get the win or loss. Thank you again to our fantastic featured panelists and all who joined us. #mcsaatchi #canneslions #storytelling
