Focused on large scale real estate and public sector project, Glen brings a wealth of experience in construction management delivery, with 38 years of experience in the industry at Galliford Try, Skanska and Sir Robert McAlpine as Commercial Director, delivering notable projects such as the Cleveland Clinic in Grosvenor Place and the redevelopment of the St Pancras Hotel. As part of our commitment to giving back to the communities in which we operate, McLaren have launched a new initiative donating repurposed laptops to charities across the UK, with the first donation taking place in the Midlands & North. Twenty repurposed company laptops were donated to the St Helens-based Martin Murray ThinkFAST academy, providing young people with online support to help with their educational development. This new initiative will see approximately 250-400 laptops repurposed and donated annually to chosen charities across the UK with drop-offs including protective equipment alongside the laptops to ensure longevity. We are excited to share that McLaren International has been appointed to deliver the next phase of Project Equinix, also known as DX3, the Equinix Data Centre complex in Dubai Production City, on behalf of Equinix Middle East FZ LLC. This appointment follows the successful completion of the first phase of the DX3.1 project in June 2023. The project will deliver an additional 7.2 MWIT of IT power for the complex, following the 3.6 MWIT created during the first phase, covering an area of 9,154 sqm and will provide a net data hall floor space, across two storeys of 3,106 sqm. We are excited to share that our Nad Al Sheba (NAS) Gardens Mall project in Dubai recently celebrated the completion of the structural works with the roof slab now fully in place, marking the topping out of the project. This milestone marks a significant transition in the project, celebrating the hard work of our colleagues, subcontractors and welcoming the new team members who will continue with the façade and internal fit-out works. Since breaking ground last May, we’ve made remarkable progress, completing both substructure and superstructure works in just 7 months. Over 10,400 m³ of concrete poured, 900 tons of reinforcement installed, and 99 steel columns erected — all bringing the project to life. Upon completion the £17M Nad Al Sheba (NAS) Gardens Mall will serve as a high-quality retail and community hub, adding significant value to the growing residential neighbourhood, offering a wide range of services and amenities for residents. Well done to all involved in reaching this milestone, thank you for all the hard work and we look forward for what’s to come for the project.
