Social Entrepreneurs Wellbeing: Shinrin Yoku (Forest Bathing / Mindfulness in Nature) with Helen Todd. Join us for immersive Shinrin Yoku sessions where you'll slow down and fully engage with the woodland environment using all your senses. Scientific research has shown the profound impact of Shinrin Yoku on psychological wellbeing, reducing stress, anxiety, and depression. Originating in Japan in the 1980s, Shinrin Yoku, or forest bathing, was developed to help urbanites cope with the stresses of contemporary living. Through a series of sensory activities, you will be invited to slow down and engage with nature in new ways. Don't miss this opportunity to rejuvenate your mind, body, and spirit. 🌳 The event will be held in Ecclesall Woods. We will meet outside the Discovery Centre and introduce ourselves before undertaking the session. Following the Shinrin Yoku session, there will be chance for reflection, a debrief and networking at the cafe area. ☕ Due to the nature of this event tickets are very limited, please only book a ticket if you are certain you will be attending. 🎟 https://lnkd.in/eMkTzKyN
