A little update on #LottoAbertawe, the community lottery for Swansea! Since its launch in July 2024: 🥳89 local good causes have registered (at no cost to themselves) 🥳There have been 50 cash winners! 🥳5 people have won £250 🥳491 people have won 3x free tickets 🥳31 people have won prizes in Lotto Abertawe Superdraws 🥳1000 tickets are being sold every week 🥳And, most importantly - £13,438 has been raised for local good causes Chris recently won £250 in one of the January draws, and we asked him why he chose to play, and why he chose to support local good cause The Environment Centre: “Lotto Abertawe is a great thing to be happening in Swansea. It’s fantastic to know that the money is going to support local causes and will make a difference on my own doorstep. Its brilliant that a much higher percentage of the ticket cost goes to charity than other lotteries. I've been a keen follower of the Environment Centre for many years and wanted to support the great work that they do for the local community. I'm currently saving up for a solar panels, the winnings will take me much closer to my goal. Hopefully I'll be generating my own power by the summer!” A ticket for Lotto Abertawe costs £1 a week, and 60p goes directly to good causes! If you’d like to support local good causes, and be in with a chance of winning £25K each week, tickets for the Lotto Abertawe weekly draws are on sale now! Visit: www.lottoabertawe.co.uk (And if you’re a part of a Third sector organisation providing benefit in Swansea and haven’t signed up yet, visit www.lottoabertawe.co.uk to find out more and benefit from long term, unrestricted funding!)
