This Sunday marks the United Nations International Day of Zero Waste But at Waste to Wonder Worldwide, every day is an opportunity to turn waste into wonder 🌟 #ZeroWaste initiatives are essential to achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, but this movement is about more than just bins and recycling, it’s about rethinking value, reimagining waste, and restoring opportunity. At Waste to Wonder, we’re proud to lead the way: 🌱 Diverting 2,500 tonnes of furniture and equipment from landfill every year 🔁 Averaging 97% reuse, with the remaining 3% recycled — and 0% to landfill 🌍 Saving over 5 million kg of CO₂e last year alone 🪑 Donating over 1 million items to under-resourced schools and charities 💚 Repurposing resources worth more than £45 million — now that’s not waste Beyond the environmental wins, our zero-waste model drives real social impact. By embedding ethical reuse into your organisation's global supply chain, you can support education, empower communities, and cut emissions - including those elusive Scope 3. This Sunday, we’re celebrating the power of purposeful reuse. Because when waste becomes a resource, everyone benefits - people, planet and future generations. #InternationalDayOfZeroWaste #Sustainability #SocialImpact #SocialValue #CircularEconomy United Nations Office for Sustainable Development (UNOSD) The Sustainable Procurement Pledge UN Environment Programme UN-Habitat (United Nations Human Settlements Programme) Supply Change Social Value Portal Social Enterprise UK Michael Amos Tom Holdsworth Hayley Smith Jade Adderley Paula Carey Mihai RIZAN Alex Rampelt Linda Glover Paul Curtis

🌍💧Water isn’t just life - it’s education, empowerment, and hope for the future💧🌍 As we approach #WorldWaterDay, we recognise that clean water is more than just a necessity, it’s a lifeline for communities around the world. At Waste to Wonder Worldwide, we’ve installed 22 solar powered borewells, giving 44,000 people access to safe, clean water. The ripple effect is profound: 📚 Education – Children who once spent hours fetching water are now attending school, unlocking a brighter future. 🌱 Food & Livelihoods – Communities can grow crops, nourish families, and sell surplus at markets to generate income. 🛡️ Stability & Security – Reliable water access means better health, resilience, and the opportunity to plan for the future, not just for tomorrow. Seeing the transformative power of these borewells and community gardens reinforces a crucial truth, more communities need access to these life-changing resources. These projects don’t just quench thirst, they relieve hunger, fuel dreams, foster education, and create lasting opportunities. We couldn’t do this without the generous support of companies who share our vision. A huge thank you to CBRE, Wagstaff Interiors Group, and Boss Design for helping to make these borewell projects a reality 💙 Water is life, but it’s also opportunity, empowerment and progress! This World Water Day, we reaffirm our commitment to ensuring that water isn’t a privilege, but a right for all 💙 #WorldWaterDay2025 #WaterIsLife #Sustainability #ESG Michael Amos Kate Grimshaw Amy Brogan Raf Galvez United Nations Office for Sustainable Development (UNOSD) United Nations CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) Supply Change Social Value Portal Tom Holdsworth Hayley Smith Alex Rampelt Jade Adderley Mihai RIZAN Paul Curtis Linda Glover Paula Carey Social Enterprise UK Marie Gillen

🌳Tomorrow is International Day of Forests!🌳 Ghana's forests are essential to both environmental #Sustainability and economic growth. However, balancing resource needs, conservation, and social development remains a challenge. Logging for furniture is a major driver of deforestation, threatening biodiversity and disrupting ecosystems. At Waste to Wonder Worldwide, we work alongside Ernest Ankomah to tackle this issue by distributing repurposed furniture to schools and communities in Ghana. This reduces demand for newly manufactured furniture and aligns with Ghana’s commitment to sustainable forest governance, particularly as the country prepares to implement FLEGT licensing under the Voluntary Partnership Agreement with the European Union. This partnership goes beyond furniture redistribution, it’s about supporting long-term #environmental and development goals. By choosing reuse over new, we can help protect forests, lower carbon footprints, and ensure students have the resources they need to succeed. Let’s prioritise ethical reuse and responsible forest management. Together, we can safeguard forests for future generations while driving sustainable development. #CircularEconomy #ZeroWaste #ZeroToLandfill #InternationalDayOfForests Michael Amos Tom Holdsworth Paul Curtis Linda Glover Alex Rampelt Mihai RIZAN Hayley Smith Jade Adderley United Nations United Nations Office for Sustainable Development (UNOSD) The Sustainable Procurement Pledge Supply Change Social Value Portal
