Congratulations to Aaron Cheeman and Joshua Crossley on their incredible achievement! Aaron and Joshua have both successfully completed their Level 4 Construction Site Supervisor Apprenticeships in the 3rd quarter of 2024, a full 8-9 months ahead of schedule! Their dedication to completing HNC assignments, preparing early for their End Point Assessment portfolios, and excelling in their project roles is a testament to their hard work and focus. Both are now employed by Wates Group, where they’re continuing their professional journeys by working towards degrees in Construction: 🏗️ Aaron attended London South Bank University 🏗️ Joshua attended Croydon College Their outstanding performance during their apprenticeships earned them the opportunity to work directly with Wates Construction, paving the way for higher-level training and development. A special thank you to Sally Kinchen (Social Value Manager) at Wates Construction-Southern and the site management teams who have supported Aaron and Joshua throughout their apprenticeship journey and beyond. Your guidance and encouragement have made a significant impact. At CoTrain - Shared Apprenticeship Service , we couldn’t be prouder of Aaron and Joshua’s achievements. They’ve set a high bar for dedication and success, and we can’t wait to see all they’ll accomplish in the future! 👏 #ConstructionCareers #Apprenticeships #FutureLeaders #ConstructionExcellence #WatesConstruction #CoTrain

Another past CoTrain - Shared Apprenticeship Service that has gone to bigger and better things whilst continuing his education. Well done Ben and BAM UK & Ireland for their brilliant support.
Extremely pleased to have completed my degree at Sheffield Hallam University studying Construction Management Practices with Second Class Honours! Frustratingly 0.4% and 1 sole mark from a First Class Honours but a result which I am more than happy with! 😃🎓📚 I would like to pay my appreciations and thanks BAM UK & Ireland & Sheffield Hallam University for supporting me throughout the Degree process 👏🏻 I am now looking forward to the next steps in my career….

Hi everyone, this is Jack, he’s 21 and in the 2nd year of his Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery course. He’s desperately in need of a company to take him on so he can finish his course (just a few months). If he doesn’t find suitable employment and work experience before the end of February he’ll be kicked off the course. He’s located in Basingstoke, Hampshire and needs to attend college there one day a week. He drives and has a car so can travel to work at a reasonable distance. Can any of my construction network help please? There will be no obligation to keep him on once he’s completed his course but he’s keen to carve out a career in carpentry and joinery so would welcome any support and employment opportunities. I’d be grateful if you could like and share this post to obtain as much reach as possible for him. Thank you!! #carpentry #joinery #apprenticeship #jobs #workexperience #basingstoke #hampshire #construction #constructionjobs Suzannah Nichol OBE 💙💛 - be grateful if you could share / help.

One of the areas our "Now or Never" strategy focuses on is connecting with education providers to showcase diverse construction roles beyond traditional perceptions. Last week, we hosted our annual Educate the Educator Day at our Weybridge office, attended by 25 careers leaders and tutors. They gained insights into construction disciplines, helping them guide students toward the industry's wide-ranging opportunities. As the industry face a skills shortage, supporting schools and colleges to meet Gatsby benchmarks and delivering social value in our communities remain priorities. Several Willmott Dixon colleagues shared their expertise and personal career journeys, receiving excellent feedback for their contributions.
