Thanks to their generous donation of over 120,000 children’s apparel items, Good+ can provide essential clothing and accessories to the families we serve. Each month, numerous volunteer groups come together to support our mission by assembling clothing bundles for distribution, ensuring that children receive comfortable and stylish apparel for every season. Last month, Good+ joined our program partner, LSA Family Health Service, for their Father's Day celebration! Families enjoyed a fun-filled day with LEGO building contests, arts & crafts, and bilingual story time. Thanks to generous donations, every child went home with LEGO sets, crafty toys, and stylish accessories. Fathers and father-figures received thoughtful gifts to celebrate their dedication, including customized hygiene kits and summer essentials. Events like these not only bring joy but also strengthen the bonds that matter most. Partnering with over 80 direct service programs, Good+ Foundation is dedicated to advancing father-oriented programming and supporting partners who share our commitment. #CelebrateFathers #CommunityPartnership 

Our founder, Jessica Seinfeld, recently spoke at Aspen Ideas Festival alongside fellow panelists Robin Hood CEO, Richard Buery, and Anne Penson of NYC Department of Correction, where they discussed the vital role of family connections during incarceration. Good+Foundation is seeking an Individual Giving Manager to join our mission-driven team in our New York City office (hybrid role). The Individual Giving Manager will play a crucial role in developing meaningful relationships to secure vital funding from individual donors. Using a data-informed approach to their work, this Manager will develop thoughtful and engaging fundraising campaigns and appeals, design an annual cultivation and stewardship plan as well as support the CEO and VP of Advancement around Major and Principal donors. This role will work across the organization to ensure that Good+Foundation’s mission, impact and thought leadership is at the forefront of donor communications and interactions. The Individual Giving Manager should have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, a high level of precision and organizational abilities, and be able to effectively engage a diverse group of stakeholders across the organization with ease. Last month, Good+ and NY program partner staff explored conflict resolution through a lens of self-awareness and empathy at Good+Foundation’s May NY Partner Convening, thanks to insightful facilitation from New York Peace Institute. From understanding our individual conflict styles to addressing trauma responses, our NY-based partners delved into the power of active listening and curiosity in fostering meaningful connections. In honor of #NationalImmigrantHeritageMonth, we’re excited to celebrate Good+Foundation's impactful contribution in helping our immigrant families achieve their goals. About one-third of Good+ program families are immigrants. We intentionally partner with agencies that are attentive to their communities’ diverse needs, with 89% of our partner network providing services in languages other than English.  With a Family Cash Grant, Emilia was able to cover her background check costs—securing stable employment at a daycare and fulfilling her dream of pursuing a career where she could balance caring for her child while nurturing others. Emilia's story is just one among many that illustrate the profound impact of our mission on immigrant families. In honor of Father's Day, Good+ joined our partner program, Eisner Family Health @eisner_health in LA for their “Daddy Boot Camp” event. Expectant fathers learned valuable bonding techniques like skin-to-skin contact and babywearing, thanks to a generous donation of baby carriers from BabyBjorn Inc. Attendees were expertly coached on how to safely babywear their little ones in BabyBjörn baby carriers, while Good+ and program staff provided guidance on what to expect after welcoming their newborns. We’re incredibly grateful to BabyBjorn Inc. for their donation of 30 baby carriers and a financial contribution to support our Father’s Day campaign, investing in our fatherhood programs and boosting Good+ fathers’ confidence in bonding with their newborns. #FathersDay  #BabyBonding
