🌟 Meet Aubrey, Our Awesome Intern at ExxonMobil! 🌟 Aubrey grew up in a family of engineers, so studying Chemical Engineering at LSU College of Engineering was a no-brainer for her. She knew it would open up tons of opportunities, and she was spot on! During her Fall 2023 Co-Op at Baton Rouge Polyolefins, Aubrey took on a key project to increase steam utility monitoring. She did such an amazing job that she got invited back this fall to work on an even more challenging feedstock project. Aubrey values her field experience at ExxonMobil because it “bridges the gap between theoretical textbook design and safe, practical design for efficient operations.” She uses her hands-on experience to come up with practical solutions for her ChemE design projects. Aubrey implements her manufacturing experience her coursework by proposing practical solutions for ChemE design projects. Outside of her studies and work, Aubrey is part of the LSU Dance Ensemble, where she builds her network and hones her skills. She also teaches dance at a local studio, inspiring kids and answering their questions about engineering. We’re super proud to have Aubrey on our team, bringing fresh ideas and solutions.
