People seek therapy for a number of different reasons, it can be a difficult and vulnerable process to talk with a stranger about what is or what has happened to you. It's my hope to create an enviroment to explore the causes and reasons for your current symptoms or issues. It's my hope to address the underlying causes of the symptoms and explore other ways to change by trying new strategies and techniques. It's my belief people can use therapy to create long term changes in their lives.

Caleb is Christian Counselor, a Certified Sex Addiction Counselor (CSAT), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), Ordained Minister, Certified Life Coach, with a Masters of Psychology in Counseling and a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. Caleb specializes in helping men work through addiction recovery, anxiety, addictive behaviors, depression, PTSD, emotional abuse, mental abuse and trauma of various kinds. His passion is to provide a safe space for his clients and to walk hand-in-hand with them, guiding them through the healing process.

Addiction is about Isolation and Recovery is about Connection. Healing happens when we address the core issues of addiction and other destructive behaviors. Addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety and compulsive behaviors can be isolating and cause problems in our relationships.

Each of us is doing the best we can given our experiences and resources. Whether you are experiencing a crisis or simply looking to improve self-reflective skills, the goal of my practice is to provide clients with tools that become resources to enable them to better cope, make positive changes, and accept change.

I meet with any and all clients ages 15+. I work with various facets of mental health concerns (anxiety, depression, relational issues, body image, etc.) I am well-read and experienced working with issues in sexuality regarding identity/orientation. I also have experience with grief counseling and working with individuals encountering difficult life adjustments or transitions. Additionally, I work with women facing issues in pregnancy, fertility journeys, loss, postpartum, and difficulty adjusting to motherhood. If you are married or in close relationship with an alcoholic, I am also well-equipped to support you.

I am passionate about helping people through life's challenging times. You may be going through stress related to work or relationships. Perhaps you're struggling with symptoms of depression, anxiety, or trauma. I specialize in helping people overcome all forms of trauma, issues related to death and grief, and also disorders like bipolar, panic attacks and significant depression. I have helped people who have had suicidal thoughts or are simply going through a difficult time and feeling burned out. The process of therapy helps people heal.

I am licensed in Mississippi with over 10 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with trauma and abuse, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence, depression, & coping with life changes. I am also an LGBTQ+ advocate and ally. I believe that you are the expert on your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. At Advanced Psychotherapy Center, I offer individual and family therapy with children and adults. I deal with parent-child relationships, custody issues, and children and adults effected by divorce. I specialize in children and adults who have experienced trauma in early childhood. I also specialize in children who have been sexually and/or emotionally abused. I have delivered workshops on the topics listed above and testified in over 500 court hearing as an expert witness in children and adult disorders.
