Dr. Vaughn is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor at Vaughn Therapeutic Collective. She specializes in working with children, adolescents, and parents. Dr. Vaughn provides the following clinical services: Individual Therapy, Play Therapy, Parent Child Interactional Therapy, Autplay, Telehealth, Mental Health Consultation to local schools. Dr. Vaughn has years of experience providing clinical services to those with ADHD, anxiety, autism (level 1), adjustment disorder, neurodevelopmental disorders, dysregulation issues, and other developmental disorders.

Veal Counseling Services focuses on providing adults ages 18 years old and older with therapeutic skills that leads to a holistic way of living. The individual therapy sessions will help a person improve pathways to a healthy life style. The sessions will also help provide the individual with a sense of mental, emotional, behavioral, and relational state of being. My practice is geared towards assisting adult individuals with managing their stress level, past trauma, extreme mood changes, and uncontrollable thoughts through the use of daily healthy coping mechanism which will decrease barrier that prevents growth.

My aim as a psychotherapist is to provide a supportive and safe environment where open expression and exploration of thoughts and feelings can freely take place. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor trained in motivational interviewing, and multiple behavioral therapies. I have prior experience as a therapist as an addiction counselor, child and family therapist, as well as those in the inpatient psychiatric setting. With better awareness, we can identify life goals, change undesirable behaviors, improve relationship patterns and achieve greater self-acceptance.

By the time many clients arrive at therapy, life has been exhausting for a while. Whether one is a therapy first-timer or an experienced client, my desire as a therapist is to foster an empowering space where clients feel comfortable exploring and unpacking the often heavy loads that they are carrying. My passion is for developing insight, knowledge, and skills that inform clients’ ability to create a more meaningful, healthy, and authentic life. I practice from a Dialectical Behavior Therapy lens, but incorporate Narrative Therapy and techniques from other modalities in order to best support clients’ diverse needs/backgrounds.
