I provide assessment and treatment of physical and mental health problems. I have forensic expertise and perform many types of specialized testing. I treat patients with complex challenges such as chronic pain, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and work injuries. My specialties include treatment of injury, opioid dependence, trauma, panic attacks, anxiety, and depression. I am trained in advanced psychological testing techniques. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, and other treatments that are supported by research. I help patients become aware of harmful patterns, and use mind body therapies including biofeedback and meditation.

I have over 15 years of experience working with adolescence, adults, and families who struggle with chemical/gambling addictions, mood disorders, risky behaviors, parenting concerns, and relationship matters. I provide individual, couples, & group counseling sessions Monday-Friday from 8:00am-6:00pm. Services can also be provided to help you fulfill the counseling mandates for your DHR matters, city/state/federal probation requirements, and employment/EAP requirements.

I have worked with families and adolescents in an inpatient facility as well as adults and adolescents in outpatient care. I have worked with individuals experiencing trauma related symptoms, depression, anxiety, attention-deficit disorders, and mood disorders. I generally like to focus on a client's overall wellness. Raina Deer is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Education Specialist with over 9 years of experience working with teens and adults who are seeking help for depression, anxiety, and relationship difficulties. Raina completed her bachelor’s degree in Educational Psychology at Mississippi State University and her Master of Education (MEd) in School Counseling at Mississippi College.

My goal is to walk alongside you as move toward positive change and growth in your life. Whether you are battling depression or anxiety, are in the midst of a difficult relationship, or are adjusting to difficult circumstances, you can feel at ease with me. I am nonjudgmental and find it a privilege to join you in your journey as you set goals and process the issue at hand. Kimila is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Mississippi. She obtained a bachelors degree in Psychology from William Carey University and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. Her office is in downtown Gulfport where she uses a unique and individually tailored blend of cognitive behavioral and client-centered therapy to provide therapeutic services to children, adolescents, adults, and families.
