Service Stream recognises the challenges faced by parents and carers in the workplace, especially during the school holiday periods. Earlier this month, Service Stream partnered with KidsCo Australia to trial a school holiday program for 60 children in our Melbourne office.   Not surprisingly, the feedback from parents was overwhelmingly positive: 👍 100% of employees said the program improved the overall workplace culture 👍 88% of employees said the program was a significant support for their mental health and wellbeing 👍 On average, employees reported gaining an additional 3-4 hours of productivity per day due to the availability of the school holiday program   Parents loved the opportunity to show their children where they work and introduce them to their workmates. We are thrilled to announce that Service Stream has been awarded a three-year contract with nbn® Australia to deliver the New Developments Module (NDM). Under the NDM, Service Stream will provide comprehensive survey and construction services for new developments and developers across New South Wales, ACT, Victoria, and Queensland. The NDM will cover a range of sites, from smaller Simplex Premises to larger Single Dwelling Units (SDU) and Multi Dwelling Units (MDU). “This contract award validates our team’s hard work and dedication, while also empowering us to deliver innovative solutions that enhance services for developers. It further demonstrates our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction,” says Kevin Smith, Executive General Manager Telco. Today, Service Stream proudly participated in R U OK? Day with a live event at our Collins Street office featuring Dean Beattie from Reset Wellness. Dean’s heartfelt sharing of his personal journey with mental health, along with insights on positive psychology, provided invaluable guidance on how we can all enhance our personal wellbeing and support those around us. “While every day should be an opportunity to ask, "R U OK?", today we made a concerted effort to highlight the importance of mental health. Our teams across the country joined in, watching the live broadcast and coming together for breakfasts and morning teas, sparking meaningful conversations about mental health”, said Darren Kuchel, Group Head of Safety.
