We recently met with our Trion partner Pemex to discuss the progression of the project, which has recently achieved 20% completion. The meeting was chaired by Víctor Rodríguez Padilla, CEO of PEMEX, and Néstor Martínez Romero, General Director of PEMEX Exploration and Production (PEP). Stephane Drouaud, Raymundo Piñones, Sandra Coleman and Alfonso Solís represented Woodside. We look forward to continued close collaboration with PEMEX as we work toward first oil production in Mexico’s ultra deep waters.

Towards the end of last year, the Scarborough Energy Project Riser Base Manifold (RBM) was loaded out of Henderson, Western Australia and installed at the Scarborough field. This is the largest subsea structure in the Scarborough natural gas field weighing close to a whopping 300 tonnes. The RBM will take the processed hydrocarbons from the floating production unit and consolidate it into one flow path to be delivered onshore to the Pluto LNG facility. Once operational, the Scarborough Energy Project is expected to produce 8 million tonnes per annum of LNG and up to 225 terajoules a day of domestic gas into the Western Australian market. It was a pleasure volunteering alongside our Western Australian peers to support the @DandelionsWA, packing valuable ‘back to school kits’ for children in need throughout WA. Thanks Volunteering WA for coordinating this invaluable opportunity, on top of the other 69 other volunteering initiatives our employees across WA took part in 2024. At Woodside we care and volunteering is a key part of our values. We're excited to enter 2025 marking 20 Years of Corporate Volunteering at Woodside.
Media Stable takes great joy and pride with our specialist service of looking after the not-for-profit sector. We absolutely adore the stories that come from this space and we love that we have been able to help them tell it well. Hats off to Seven Network #Perth Graeme Butler covering the #DandelionsWA Back to School Backpack Drive. So good to see the corporates including Horizon Power, RAC WA, Bankwest, Rio Tinto Woodside Energy Beyond Bank Australia getting involved. Fantastic words from Traci Gamblin GAICD of Volunteering WA "Research shows that those who volunteer are happier and healthier people." #Volunteering #Volunteers #Charity #BackToSchool #Education #media

📣 We have some exciting news to share about Woodside supporting two important community and culture initiatives in Western Australia. 📣 Our CEO Meg O’Neill has joined Roger Cook, Kevin Michel MLA, Liz Ritchie and Beth Smith to announce Woodside will contribute A$50 million for upgrades to Roebourne District High School and the redevelopment of Perth Concert Hall. The education of our young people in a culturally appropriate environment which sets them up for success was a key consideration in our decision to support the Roebourne District High School upgrade. We are also pleased to contribute to the revitalisation of the iconic Perth Concert Hall, a venue that has been at the centre of much of Western Australia’s modern cultural history. Our contribution will come from our A$50 million commitment to the Western Australian Government’s Resources Community Investment Initiative (RCII).

Many thanks to Murujuga Aboriginal Corporation for sharing footage captured of the Rangers guided underwater adventure. It’s wonderful to see the Murujuga Rangers testing underwater equipment and developing their skills as part of their important work in protecting cultural heritage and identifying submerged sites. Collaborative efforts like this demonstrate successful co-existence of heritage and industry.
𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 🤿🐠 Happy new year! Are you in need of refreshment? Immerse yourself in the waters of Murujuga through this video made by Murujuga Ranger Jade Churnside with footage from colleague Caleb Pitt-Cook. The dive by Jade, Caleb and Senior Ranger Sarah Hicks was guided by Pilbara Dive and Tours, and was part of training funded through an Australian Research Council grant (DE220100550) awarded to Dr John McCarthy of the Flinders University Maritime Archaeology Program (FUMAP). The grant project investigates the uses of technology in searching for submerged heritage sites by archaeologists in partnership with Traditional Owners and Custodians. Thanks to Woodside Energy for their sponsorship of the Murujuga Rangers’ underwater camera on which the footage was filmed. 🪸🦞
