We’ve made progress as an industry, but the work is far from over. Challenges like the lack of practical flexibility, unconscious bias, and the double standards women face—especially in senior roles—are holding us back. But there’s one critical takeaway: every woman is different. So, instead of making assumptions, businesses in PBSA—and across real estate—must start listening and focus on supporting individuals. Real, lasting change starts with: ✔️ Removing barriers without resorting to tick-box exercises. ✔️ Leading with transparency about challenges and solutions. ✔️ Advocating for a workplace that represents the communities we serve.   There’s no quick fix, but we can all do better.
