In October, the consortium was thrilled to this beautiful vessel under construction at GONDAN Shipbuilders - Astilleros Gondán. 🌊 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗻 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗼-𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆! ⚓💚 Today, key actors from across the supply chain gathered in Stavanger with State Secretary Sigrun Aasland from Klima- og miljødepartementet to highlight the industry’s readiness to implement 𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗼-𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀.   🔋 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀: - Both 𝗼𝗶𝗹 & 𝗴𝗮𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀 and 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 welcome the transition to zero-emissions. - Technology is ready and suppliers are eager to start implementing. However, to 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗲𝗱, industry leaders emphasized the need for: 1. 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗼-𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀 to ensure predictability 🔍 2. 𝗘𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲𝘀 to make the shift financially viable 💰 3. 𝗭𝗲𝗿𝗼-𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝘀 and emission-reduction policies for exciting vessels🛠️ 4. 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗼-𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀 for example starting with PSVs🔄 We were encouraged by State Secretary Sigrun Aasland’s commitment to ensuring that a 𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗼-𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗲𝘁 is on its way, with a public hearing in the works soon. 🌅☕ Kom på frukostseminar om dei kommande nullutsleppskrava for offshoreflåten i Stavanger 30. oktober! 🌊📅 Regjeringa har varsla nullutsleppskrav for offshoreflåten, og Stortinget vedtok i fjor at det skal koma krav om lågutslepp frå 2025 og nullutslepp frå 2029.  Offshoreflåten er spydspissen for teknologisk utvikling i norsk skipsfart. Den tell rundt 500 fartøy av ulike typar, og er verdas mest verdifulle offshoreflåte etter USA. Den står for rundt 30 prosent av utsleppa frå norsk skipsfart, noko som er mest av alle segment, og er heilt avgjørende for å nå klimamåla. Er teknologien og industrien klar for nullutsleppskrav for offshoreflåten, korleis får ein infrastruktur og verdikjede på plass, og korleis bør krava utformast for å ha størst omstillingseffekt? Statssekretær i Klima- og Miljødepartementet, Sigrun Aasland, kjem og me inviterer operatørane på sokkelen, offshorerederia, teknologibedrifter og resten av verdikjeda til frukostmøte for å diskutera vegen vidare.
