The Birmingham Centre for Railway Research and Education (BCRRE) is Europe’s largest academic-based group that provides world-class research, education, and innovation to the global rail industry. With over 180 staff including academics, researchers and professional support staff, we offer an expanding portfolio of programmes, industry applied research and collaborations from SMEs to OEMs all under our £16.4M UKRRIN Building. A new purpose-built centre designed to deliver specialist research in digital railway engineering.
