As part of our 125th anniversary celebrations, we hosted a filmmaking school in Leeds, equipping participants with essential skills in camera work, sound recording, editing, and social media promotion. Delivered by Iconic Steps, the programme culminated in a final screening of their work. Alongside technical training, Clarion Futures provided career development workshops, covering CV building and employability coaching. Participants will now benefit from 12 months of support from Iconic Steps, plus continued guidance from Clarion Futures. Cam Norford, a Clarion resident, said: “When I heard about the film school, I jumped at the chance to take part as I could see how it could help me promote my business – I really enjoyed it and have learned lots, as well as having fun.” Find out more about Clarion’s 125th anniversary by visiting clarion125.com #Filmmaking #Clarion125 #Filmschool #ClarionFutures
