Arcadian, Huntingdon Street, Nottingham 🏙️ Arcadian is a purpose-built student accommodation development launched by Homes for Students in 2024, delivering 293-beds, and offering a mix of ensuite rooms and studio apartments. The new build structure spans 7-storeys orientated around an inner landscaped courtyard space and includes a green roof, ample amenity space such as group social spaces, study areas and a gym. The Art Deco façade of the former Amusements Arcade has been retained and refurbished, creating a welcoming, prominent feature for residents. Glazing at street level enhances the street scene, adding an active frontage and character back to the area. Limelight, Liverpool 🏙️ We are pleased to share photographs of the fantastic project 'Limelight', which was launched in 2024 by Blacklight Capital Partners, designed and delivered by Falconer Chester Hall. Limelight is a vibrant and modern 16-storey, two-block development offering 536 beds for student accommodation, designed for Blacklight Capital Partners. The two blocks are connected by a glazed communal area on the ground floor, providing a mix of cluster bedrooms and studios. Residents can enjoy a secure landscaped communal courtyard, as well as shared amenities. The building's façade features a distinctive grid design with a woven solid-glass arrangement, referencing rag trade industry that once thrived in the area. The roof design and sheer side walls draw inspiration from the historical slate works that previously occupied the site, blending modern architecture with local heritage. A06 looks fantastic today against the crisp winter backdrop!❄️🏗️ The unitised, pre-fabricated façade is progressing steadily, now reaching level 27—marking the start of the lighter-coloured "crown" detail element of the project. Planning secured for mixed-use development, Duke Street, Liverpool! We are delighted to announce that planning approval has been granted by Liverpool City Council this morning, for the redevelopment of 118-124 Duke Street, in Liverpool's Ropewalks district.
