We're delighted that McCann has been named as the most successful UK agency at turning its Cannes Lions nominations into gold or Grand Prix awards, topping several categories this year. Although UK agencies overall were awarded 37% fewer golds or Grands Prix compared with 2023, as Polly McMorrow, chief executive at McCann London, reflected: “This year we witnessed never-seen-before wins from countries such as Iceland who won their first ever Lion for Olgerdin and Kazakhstan who won their first gold, for a powerful domestic violence campaign."
