The Passage, a project we delivered in 2016, was aired on ITV and highlighted the ongoing importance of providing not only shelter but spaces that restore dignity and hope to those experiencing homelessness. Our Head of HR, Yvonne M., recently joined an event, Neurodiversity in the Workplace, along with other HR professionals, as part of the Love Success 2024 HR Speaker Series. Lila Boyce advised how, as employers, we can better support our diverse workforce in equal opportunities and fairness at work, reducing risk of discrimination. Creating an effective working environment means fostering a culture where everyone feels valued, accepted, and safe. This approach encourages team members to freely share suggestions, develop ideas, and experiment with new, innovative approaches. This topic is high on Veretec’s agenda to help better support our employees.
