We're pleased to be supporting 10 #HighPeak producers in exhibiting at Chatsworth Country Fair this summer, thanks to High Peak Borough Council's UK Shared Prosperity Fund Project 👏 Textile artists, homeware creators and clothing designers are among the talented local producers who will each have their own fully-funded trade stall at the popular annual event, which takes place from 30th August to 1st September 2024. Applications were open to a wide variety of creators and makers based in the local authority area of the High Peak, with the aim of showcasing the area’s vibrant cultural offer and helping small businesses to grow and reach new markets. We're delighted to offer #HighPeak food and drink producers the opportunity to showcase their products to businesses in the hospitality, leisure and tourism sector at an exciting culinary showcase event this autumn 🍅🧀🍦 Producers based in the High Peak are invited to register for the ‘High Peak Culinary Showcase: Meet the Buyers’ event, which will be held on Tuesday 15th October at Losehill House Hotel and Spa in Hope. The event aims to connect food and drink producers with buyers from local hotels, restaurants, bars and cafes and will provide a platform to help suppliers meet key decision makers, promote their products and strengthen their supply chain. Highlights will include an exclusive exhibition and networking session, culminating in a sit-down tasting lunch featuring the finest local produce from selected producers and makers. Applications are welcomed from a wide variety of food and drink producers based in the local authority area of High Peak Borough Council, plus event staging businesses, photographers and florists. We're working in partnership with High Peak Borough Council to deliver the event through the council’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund (#UKSPF) project. Congratulations to Sir Chris Bryant on his appointment as Tourism Minister at Department for Culture, Media and Sport. He hope to welcome Sir Chris to the #PeakDistrict and #Derbyshire to introduce him to some of the fantastic businesses who make the visitor economy in this area so special.

We were delighted to welcome Claire Ward, Mayor of the East Midlands to a Visitor Economy roundtable earlier this week, it was great to hear about her Visit East Midlands project and priorities for the region.
