We’re very sorry to give you the extremely sad news that an ex-colleague and dear friend, John Danby, has sadly passed away. John started his career at the Trinity Mirror Group, before accelerating his career at the UK-based ad network Unanimis. John was one of the first 5 people who worked at MiQ back in early 2011, joining as our first ever commercial sales hire. John was with us for 12 years and is truly embedded into the history of our company, playing a large part in our success. John’s journey at MiQ was truly global and he very much played a pivotal role across many areas of the business. After setting up the sales org in the UK, he then helped to set up Singapore and went on to launch our Australian business as our first ANZ Managing Director. He completed his journey at MiQ by supporting our North American operations from New York. John's contribution to MiQ was simply incredible. More importantly, John was a great and loving human being. John was fiercely passionate, determined and loyal. He was dedicated to his many friends and colleagues who he shared amazing times with and who all loved him dearly. We will miss John’s infectious smile. As it is to both of us, we understand that this news will be deeply devastating and distressing for many of you. Once arrangements have been finalised, we will share ways to pay tribute and respects to John. Our thoughts are with John’s loved ones. May our wonderful friend John Rest in Peace ❤️ Lee and G
