School-based distribution of insecticide-treated nets (ITNs) has proven effective in maintaining universal ITN coverage — helping to ensure this lifesaving resource where it is needed most. Last month, the #PMIEvolve project - funded by the U.S. President's Malaria Initiative and supported Population Services International - collaborated with Zambia's National Malaria Elimination Centre in planning and preparation for their 2025 ITN distribution campaign across schools in five project-supported provinces. This involved a 2-day training and on-site mentorship for provincial and district health officers as they strategize for next year's rollout, building on insights from the previous campaign. With the NMEC, the PMI Evolve team is committed to implementing these lessons for a successful school-based distribution next year. Together, we can support more children to access ITNs, strengthen health systems, and drive Zambia closer to a malaria-free future. #Malaria #MalariaFree #Health #InsecticideTreatedNets #HealthSystemsStrengthening #PreventMalaria#PublicHealth

Last week, Population Services International had the privilege of hosting the Life Sciences and Health Trade Mission from the Netherlands at our Digital Innovation Hub in Nairobi. The delegation, comprising public and private sector leaders, spent four days exploring partnerships with local actors to advance digitization in health. At the visit, we were joined by representatives from the Ministry of Health, Kenya, IntelliSoft, Ilara Health, Jacaranda Health, and Viya Health Kenya, further illustrating the transformative digital initiatives happening through collaborations across Kenya. The visit sparked new avenues for collaboration, which we look forward to exploring further through PSI Kenya and Stichting PSI Europe as a member of the Global Health Hub Netherlands. A special thanks to Task Force Health Care (TFHC), Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Kenya, and Geoffrey Korir for this opportunity. Together, we can build connections that continue to drive meaningful progress in digital health.
