In these days, we are in #Vienna for the presentation of the #Trace-IT project, developed in collaboration with the Università degli Studi di Bari. The project has been selected for the FOODITY program, and we are proud to be one of the six European start-ups benefiting from this program and its associated funding. Trace-IT focuses on using technology to improve traceability and sustainability in agri-food supply chains, addressing #European #regulations such as the Deforestation Regulation and the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence (#CSDDD). With this project, we aim to develop solutions that allow the collection and management of data along the supply chain transparently, while ensuring consumers can verify the sustainability and origin of the products they purchase. In the coming months, we will closely collaborate with the University of Bari team to develop and refine these solutions, aiming to: ✅ Engage small producers: The project aims to involve small farmers and cooperatives by co-creating tools for collecting data on sustainability and traceability, particularly in the cocoa and coffee supply chains. ✅ Analyze consumer behaviors: Studying consumer preferences related to sustainability and traceability to develop educational and marketing strategies. ✅ Data integration: Using platforms to collect, manage, and share data across all parties involved in the supply chain (producers, businesses, consumers). We are grateful for the collaboration with the partners in the Foodity project, who contribute their expertise and dedication to developing innovative solutions for the agri-food sector: F6S, AUSTRALO, Jibe Company, Sploro, SOFTEAM, Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH), Centre for Social Innovation
