Nexion Group strengthens its presence in Australia with the creation of Nexion Oceania
Nexion Group has been present on the Australian market for decades through its companies Corghi Australia and Molnar/Stenhoj Australia, with the aim of providing cutting-edge solutions for the marketing, installation and maintenance of technological products. The brands we distribute, including Autopstenhoj, Corghi, Bradbury, Sherpa, Tecnomotor and Molnar, are supported by a widespread sales and after-sales service network, guaranteeing our customers a complete and highly qualified service.
Starting from 1 January 2025, the two entities will merge to create Nexion Oceania, a new entity whose main objective will be to strengthen our presence in the market, optimize the services offered to customers and consolidate our business in the region. This strategic step will allow us to better coordinate our activities, create synergies between the products of the brands distributed and respond even more effectively to the needs of our customers.

🚀Optonas recently won a project that is co-funded by the European Union, which focuses on promoting exports through participation in exhibitions.
🎯The project aims to participate in specialized international exhibitions to present advanced, world-class optical components and thin-film coating services, establish connections with potential partners/clients, and promote the company's name. Participation in these exhibitions is expected to significantly increase export revenues and enhance the popularity of the products/services.
💰Funding Source - European Regional Development Fund.
💶The project's total value is EUR 69.182,00 of which EUR 23.018,46 is from the European Regional Development Fund.

Thank you very much for inviting me to speak on the opening panel of hy-fcell this morning! It was a pleasure to take part in this very interesting discussion with exciting panelists on the challenge of using hydrogen in industry and the mobility sector.
The most important insights:
- a functioning infrastructure is the basis and must be built quickly
- Hydrogen prices are key for users to start the transition (the break-even point in the mobility sector is 5 €/kg and in industry 1.5-2 €/kg compared to diesel/natural gas)
- We need to talk about the upcoming costs (electricity grid expansion / integration of renewable energies / hydrogen storage and power plants) and how these costs are to be covered
- Transparency and planning security are necessary for every investment
- additional costs (Maritime ETS, BNetzA plans for individual grid charges, energy prices, etc.) will significantly damage the competitiveness of EU industry)
- We don't have much time left: stop over-regulation (delegated act, gas package, IPCEI), stick to the Pareto principle and let H2 producers and users start without artificial barriers...
