There are just two days left to have your say on the Medway Local Plan 2041. Medway Council is asking residents to share their thoughts on the new Local Plan. The plan will guide the development and use of land in Medway up to 2041 and address the needs of the growing population. It’s your chance to tell the council how you want Medway to be including new homes, more job opportunities, improved public services and more access to green spaces. Hear from our chief executive, Ashley Hook, and others on why the Local Plan is so important for Medway’s future: https://lnkd.in/eFwMTkRG For more information on the Local Plan and to have your say, visit: https://lnkd.in/eR_TBYhU #mhshomes #MedwayPlan #Housing #MedwayLocalPlan #YourFutureMedway

Today is International Day of Charity. It’s about raising awareness of charities and the vital role they play, and inspiring acts of kindness and philanthropy. At mhs homes, we’re committed to investing in our communities and we work with and support local charities to help make a difference to people and places. This year, we’ve set ourselves the challenge of raising £20,000 for the Swale Community Care Project, a charity which helps people living in poverty by providing food, clothing and signposting to local community services. We’ve held bake sales and raffles, a charity football match, a golf day, cycled 100 miles and raced a dragon boat, pulling together to raise £17,092! We’re proud to say that we’re well on track to reach our fundraising target. A big thank you to those partners and organisations who have supported our efforts including those who took part in our Big Sleep Out in January, raising a whopping £11,606 for homelessness charity Porchlight. #mhshomes #teammhs #charity #InternationalDayofCharity Porchlight (charity) Birketts LLP calfordseaden Highview Group Chartway Partnerships Group AD Construction Group Red Loft Capsticks LLP Jenner (Contractors) Ltd Frankham Group Esquire Developments Building Associates Limited Martin Arnold Ltd Niblock Building Contractors Jewson Partnership Solutions Trail Group Phoenix Compliancy Management Baily Garner LLP DHA Planning Group MOXY Property Consultants

They’re a safe place where young people can live, learn, and make the transition to independent adulthood. With a new foyer opening in the autumn, our supported housing schemes have the potential to change the lives of hundreds of young people in Medway.
