💚Today is #TimeToTalkDay, and we believe that creating a supportive and open environment is crucial for positive mental health. Stuart Lee, shared his thoughts on the importance of wellbeing: “Conversations build connection, enabling us to share experiences, seek support, and develop a sense of belonging. Expressing emotions verbally aids in processing and understanding our feelings, leading to increased self- awareness.” With 70% of Colleagues wanting to prioritise their wellbeing, we're hosting a series of expert 'Taking Care of Me' talks on work-life blend, mental wellbeing, physical wellbeing, and personal growth. Every day is an opportunity to check in on your friends, Colleagues, and neighbours, ensuring that no one feels alone. Whether it’s a cup of tea or a listening ear, let us know in the comments how you’re supporting others today. 👇 #BecauseCommunityMatters #WeAreCommunity #MentalHealth #MakingADifference #TakingCareofMe #YourWellbeingYourWay

🌟 We’re thrilled to announce that The Places Foundation, the charitable arm of PfP, has secured £170,000 from The National Lottery Community Fund Scotland to expand Community support in Craigmillar. This vital funding will help strengthen the Hays Community Hub, a lifeline for local Customers, support a full-time Community worker, expand volunteering, increase health and wellbeing sessions, and develop more services for young people and families over the next three years in one of Scotland’s most deprived areas As Marcus Hulme, Director of Places Impact, said: “We’re not only fostering a sense of belonging and ownership but also ensuring everyone has access to the tools they need to thrive. Together, we’re creating a powerful safety net that strengthens Community bonds and opens doors to life-changing opportunities.” A huge thank you to National Lottery, your support makes projects like this possible. 🏠 We’re excited to share that PfP, in partnership with Murray Estates, has secured land to deliver over 1,300 much-needed new homes on the outskirts of Edinburgh. In response to the city’s growing demand for quality, mixed-tenure housing and the declared housing emergency in Edinburgh, the site will create a thriving, inclusive Community with a mix of homes, including over 25% affordable housing. Green spaces, a new primary school, and local job opportunities, will support families, whilst improved transport links will keep People connected to the city. Colin Jack, Regional Managing Director of PfP, says: “Scotland has failed to address our chronic shortage of homes being built. We are ready to help. Our team’s extensive housebuilding experience allows us to create Communities that last for generations." As a social enterprise, we go beyond just building homes, investing in apprenticeships, local labour schemes, Community projects and partnerships with local charities and businesses, to ensure our work makes a real difference to people’s lives. 🏠 Construction will begin in Summer 2026, and we’re excited to work closely with Edinburgh City Council to bring our aspirations to fruition. Bridging the digital gap and supporting People to get online 💻 At PfP, we’re passionate about ensuring everyone has access to the digital skills and opportunities they need to thrive. That’s why we launched the six-week ‘Redcliffe Go Digital’ sessions at Redcliffe Community Hub in Bristol, supported by a Community Connectors small grant. Here’s what we’ve achieved so far: ✅ 10 people have gained essential digital skills and became computer-literate! ✅ In February, we’ll welcome our next cohort for a new series of sessions, helping even more people get connected. ✅ We’ve enabled remote IT learning with AbilityNet for Customers, thanks to generous laptop donations. This initiative is growing, and we’re proud to be creating opportunities for people to learn, connect, and thrive in a digital world. Together, we’re building inclusive, connected Communities! #BecauseCommunityMatters #MakingADifference #DigitalInclusion #GoDigital #BridgingTheGap

Creating homes for life 🏡 The UK’s housing sector is under increasing pressure to provide affordable, modern accommodation that meets diverse and evolving needs, especially in the retirement living sector. We’re proud to have dedicated professionals like our Service Coordinator, Mark Ryan, who helps Customers access support and navigate life changes. His work goes beyond housing, it’s about creating safe, supportive, and tailored homes. Mark explains: “Retirement living focuses more on independence, but I still find ways to support my residents - whether it's connecting them with local counselling services or helping them navigate life's transitions. The impact you can have on people’s lives is incredible, and even after almost 30 years, I still feel that same pride when I can help someone.” Mark’s dedication and passion does not go unnoticed. Championing gender inclusion at PfP 💜 At PfP, we’re committed to fostering equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI), its why we have eight Inclusion and Belonging Communities including our Gender Community. Earlier this month, we held a Gender Day for our Colleagues which was a fantastic opportunity to bring together members from across our working Community. Here are some of the key takeaways: 🔹 Understanding the real challenges faced across the gender spectrum and the impact on engagement and wellbeing. 🔹 Eye-opening insights from Dr Jeff Foster on the ‘Manopause’ - raising awareness on mens health and the impact on mental and physical health. 🔹Crafted our plans for International Women's Day to champion and celebrate gender equality in the workplace - keep your eye on our socials for more to come. Inclusion isn’t just about policies, it’s about listening, learning, and taking action to build a workplace and Communities where everyone thrives - events like this enable us to do just that. Thank you to everyone involved! #BecauseCommunityMatters #GenderDay #Inclusion #GenderEquality #Diversity #EDI
