Such a fantastic achievement for our Infrastructure Services team, improving rail access at Forster Square Train Station on behalf of Yorkshire Water and BAM UK & Ireland! This project involved diverting an existing water main to facilitate essential platform modifications, all in preparation for Bradford's City of Culture 2025. ULIS executed these complex works adjacent to a functioning railway, delivering ahead of schedule and within budget. By leading the excavation of a multi-utility trench for all involved utility companies, we not only minimised the project's carbon footprint but also achieved significant cost savings. We're off to a fantastic start at Stuttle House, Property Services' latest Building Safety project, located in central London. We’re thrilled to partner with THCH (Tower Hamlets Community Homes) on this initiative, which focuses on replacing external cladding to achieve a “B1” rating or better under the RICS EWS1 form. So far, we’ve successfully erected scaffolding and we are in the process of stripping away the old combustible cladding. Exciting progress on our retrofit project with Wolverhampton Homes! As part of City of Wolverhampton Council's 'Greener Homes & Warmer Residents through Retrofit' initiative, we’re currently retrofitting over 200 homes across the city to fully comply with PAS2035 standards. Key upgrades include: ✅ External wall insulation ✅ New loft insulation ✅ Energy-efficient windows and doors ✅ Advanced ventilation systems to improve air circulation This project not only enhances the quality of life for residents but also contributes to reducing carbon emissions.
