I am passionate about this work and I truly value the clients that allow me to help them along their way. I specialize in women’s issues, life transitions, grief, depression, anxiety, as well as other mental health issues. My approach is person centered; I work with you where you are! I use a variety of techniques and interventions depending on what you are facing and how to best assist you in your healing.

I work with children and adolescents who develop symptoms related to a trauma or abuse or are simply just struggling with life changes. Some of the symptoms children may develop from a trauma or abuse is nightmares, negative behaviors, defiance, thoughts of self harm, loss of appetite, anger out bursts, depression, guilt, and difficulty sustaining healthy relationships to name a few. Children and families who experience trauma need support and education with learning how to cope with thoughts and feelings related to the traumatic experience as well as learning how to function within a changed environment.

I have an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and an MA in Human Services, Marriage and Family Counseling. I grew up in Washington State, married my husband in 1995 and we have traveled across the United States since then with the military. We recently settled in Priest River and are excited to start a new chapter in our lives. We have two adult boys, and adopted an 11-year-old special needs girl in 2015. Deanna Boyadjyan is a board certified licensed clinical social worker. She graduated from University of Southern California with her master of social work and concentration in military and family issues. Her undergraduate is from Cal State University Northridge with a bachelor in public health education. Understanding the human body and mind connection has been a huge passion that began Deanna's journey to her profession in therapy. The ideal client is anyone who wants CHANGE, and is excited to learn more about themselves and willing to make efforts to better themselves. The client is hopefully ready for the work within themselves.
