People encounter many different challenges in everyday life. Some benefit from assistance that comes from outside of the home or work site. Treatment works when a person feels heard and respected while in the presence of a positive and safe therapeutic alliance. I have worked with adults, adolescents, and with families through a variety of life challenges and issues over the years. Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) enjoys working with adolescents and adults who suffer from a variety of disorders such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, stress management, self-esteem issues, divorce, relationship difficulties, grief, self-harm, etc. Trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) to address PTSD and trauma related symptoms. In addition to clinical counseling experience, worked in elementary and secondary education as both a teacher and a school counselor for 10 years. Session fee $125-$240.

Most of my clients struggle with one or more of the following including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and grief. They are trying to find peace and someone to really listen to them and understand. I love working with clients who are wanting life to improve. I have worked with young children to the elderly. I work with individuals to find their worth and strengths to build upon.

My counseling approach is strengths-based and uniquely tailored to promote self-awareness, clarification of strengths and values, and to increase your sense of purpose and meaning. Topics we explore might include life transitions, unresolved conflicts, unmet needs, existential concerns, spirituality, identity development, grief/loss, and interpersonal struggles.

I genuinely care about working with others who are striving to find happiness. I am a clinical social worker and I love working with all ages. I have a vast amount of experience treating children for issues including trauma and abuse, anger, parental divorce issues and defiance as other concerns. Additionally, I work well with adolescents and adults. I have a great deal of experience treating depression, anxiety, mood disorders, severe mental illness, grief issues and relationship concerns. I specialize in traumatic relationship experiences and have extended education on Narcissistic Personality Disorder and abuse as well as Antisocial Personality Disorder and Borderline Personality Disorder.

She has experience working with adolescents and adults with suicidal ideation and self-harm tendencies, and those who have had a history of trauma and abuse. She has also been trained in Crisis Intervention and is interested in working with first responders.
