Stevens Institute Of Technology’s Expansion Nears Completion In Hoboken, New Jersey

Construction is almost complete on Stevens Institute of Technology‘s new two-tower Student Housing and University Center in HobokenNew Jersey. Designed by Design Collective and Wallace Roberts and Todd, the 392,000-square-foot structure is comprised of 16- and 18-story towers rising from a 70,000-square-foot podium, and is the largest expansion in the institute’s history. The new building will accommodate 994 students, bringing Stevens’ cumulative resident capacity up to 3,500. The project is located along the Hudson River waterfront and is expected to cost $256 million.

40 Bleecker Street Stands Completed in NoHo, Manhattan

Construction is complete on 40 Bleecker Street, a 12-story residential building at the corner of Mulberry and Bleecker Streets in NoHo. Designed by Rawlings Architects and developed by Broad Street Development, the property yields 61 one- to five-bedroom units with interiors designed by Ryan Korban. Sales and marketing are being led by Fredrik Eklund of Million Dollar Listing: New York fame, as well as John Gomes and Sarah Burke of Douglas Elliman Development MarketingEdmund Hollander Design is carrying out the landscaping for the private outdoor terraces and the 5,600-square-foot rear courtyard.

New Renderings Released for The Alloy Block at 80 and 100 Flatbush Avenue, in Downtown Brooklyn

A new series of street-level and aerial renderings have been revealed for The Alloy Block, a two-tower mixed-use development designed and developed by Alloy Development and located at 80 Flatbush Avenue and 100 Flatbush Avenue on the border of Downtown Brooklyn and Boerum Hill. Renderings depict the 482-foot-tall 100 Flatbush Avenue, a 44-story edifice being built in phase one at the corner of Flatbush Avenue and State Street, which will be the city’s first all-electric tower.

Exterior work is nearing completion on 23-20 Jackson Avenue, a nine-story mixed-use building in Long Island CityQueens. Designed by KSQ Architects and developed by The Vorea Group, the project will yield 85,851 square feet with retail space, offices, and a 72-room hotel operated by San Francisco-based hotelier Sonder Corp. The property is located at the intersection of Jackson Avenue and Pearson Street.
