I’m excited to share a sneak peak of the new TRIBE Manchester Airport hotel opening today! It’s been a pleasure to contribute to the delivery of this development together with Arun Rana, Una Barac-Tinegate and team, our partner Meir Abutbul & operator Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA. Thank you to our incredible Accor teams that have been involved in this project from 2019; Development, Operations, Design and Technical Services, Onboarding and many more!! The hotel is a stone throw from the airport with 412 keys, an incredible social hub featuring a huge island bar, coffee shop and bold sophisticated urban design – a perfect way to start your travels! A great result, that’s only been possible with the commitment and collaboration of the huge team involved, some of whom below. I wish the hotel all the success and luck for the exciting future ahead. Several months ago we took the decision to expand again, this time entering the public sector. We are extremely happy to announce that MY Construction Group is now on several major frameworks (LHC Procurement Group and City of Wolverhampton Council to name a couple), and expecting to more in the very near future. It has been a steep learning curve, understanding the different requirements and making sure our processes, procedures and people are aligned with the requirements set by the various public organisations. Plus, MY now has (as well as our traditional construction for #affordable and #prime #resi and #hotels) its own #MMC / #modular facility (MY-Fab), capable of manufacturing not only our in-house developed, full structural volumetric modular system, but also an array of in-house deigned and manufactured built environment products, as well as a networks of secure warehousing and logistics facilities, this was no mean feat. Well done to all the team involved, mostly to @kishor Joshi, Kenneth Cranston, Eilan Azulay, Chris Keenan, Harish Shah, José Manuel Juárez Tello, Daniel Lucian Lenghel. Less than a month to go until the Duchenne Dash 2024, and my training is well underway! I'm excited to be taking part in this challenging cycling event that will see riders complete a gruelling 300km journey from London to Paris in just 24 hours. But this isn't just about the physical challenge. I'm also doing this to raise awareness and funds for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), a debilitating disease that affects young boys, causing muscle weakness and eventually leading to paralysis. While there have been some promising developments in treatment, such as gene therapy trials and drugs like Givinostat, there is still no cure. That's why I'm asking for your help in reaching my fundraising goal of £4,000.
