It’s always great to receive positive feedback! We recently had the pleasure of welcoming representatives from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) to one of our recladding schemes on a substantial riverfront development in East London. The project is classified as a ‘higher-risk building’ under the Building Safety Act 2022.   It’s fantastic for government representatives to come to site and see first-hand the results of the Building Safety Act and how we are making buildings safer for residents. The feedback indicated that the attendees appreciated the opportunity to witness the complex logistics required in such a constrained footprint and were impressed with the site setup, ongoing temporary works, and scaffold erection.   A huge thank you to our visitors for their time and interest, and to our site team and our Employer's Agent, Harris Associates UK, for facilitating such an important visit.   #Construction #Recladding #BuildingSafety #MHCLG

Yesterday, we returned to the Coram Queen Elizabeth II Centre, which we built in 2019 for the children’s charity Coram, to host our staff conference. The venue’s excellent facilities made it the perfect setting for the day. We were delighted to have our client, David Kershaw from RO Real Estate, join us to share how a collaborative approach helped us exceed their sustainability targets on our recent fit-out of Silbury House, now the most sustainable office building in Milton Keynes! Our leadership team also discussed exciting growth plans, recent contract wins, and the challenges currently facing the construction industry. The Power of Great Lighting! We’re so pleased to share this wonderful feedback from Tandridge District Council  about the lighting design for Quadrant House in Caterham, Surrey: “Just a quick note to say thank you for a great job on the lighting design. I was at Quadrant House yesterday. The lighting is superb. So much brighter and lighter. The first-floor corridor was like a cave before. The transformation is fantastic. The lobbies are also much improved.” We were selected to lead the sustainable retrofit of Quadrant House, a mixed-use building from the mid-60s in Caterham. Working closely with Erect Architecture and the main contractor Thomas Sinden Limited, this lighting upgrade was just one aspect of a much larger decarbonisation project that we consulted on for the entire building. We made sure the lighting and services not only brightened the space but also future-proofed the building to meet modern standards and appeal to current and future building tenants.
