We are a Husband and Wife team who have the tools available to change your life. The form of therapy we use is different than your ordinary "talk therapy." Everything is done in action through techniques such as role play, double, role reversal, soliloquy, and scene setting. We specialize in helping people who struggle with RELATIONAL TRAUMA. Relational trauma is the experience of repeated neglect, abuse, bullying, or other type of behavior that causes lasting psychological harm. It's usually perpetrated by a family member or other close loved one, and the repercussions are chronic and severe.

I'm a licensed counselor with 30 years of experience and can help you find ways to make positive changes whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, other mood regulation, grief, addictions, eating disorders, or relationships problems. Managing life with a chronic illness is a particular interest of mine, and I have extensive training regarding the relationship between illness and mental health. Counseling can help you find peace in your life and strength to face whatever is causing you stress or pain.

I'm Ashley Pearson, an LCSW, with twenty two years experience in clinical social work. I graduated first in my class in 1999 from Tulane University New Orleans, where I received my MSW. I love working with a variety of populations and joke that I specialize in keeping it real. I use motivational interviewing to meet a client where they are and to develop a thorough treatment plan with tangible and attainable goals.
