My not so "hot" take on the future of tech hiring: 1. Enabler not a replacement For the foreseeable future, AI will play the role of an enabler and won't replace engineers. The tech while progressing at a great speed, needs to stabilize. A de facto standard for the industry needs to emerge before there can be mass adoption, till then it will create excitement but not meaningful impact. 2. Demand has not really decreased While the pitch is that each company will need fewer engineers than before, the accessibility of tech has meant that traditional companies that were absolute outsiders of the tech world have also become really serious about it. So, the pie has just become much larger and will continue to increase. 3. Mediocrity will not survive As ever in the world of tech, every few years the average moves up significantly. This means mediocre developers are replaced by tools - this will continue to happen. Quality talent will continue to have a market. 4. Software development is more thinking than coding In the end, developing good software development is a mix of creativity and solid problem solving, not just writing code. What's more, it has an aura of intimidation. That's why even NoCode tools were majorly adopted by those who were already in the tech industry - most others didn't upskill and instead helped give birth to NoCode agencies. With AI too, I expect a similar future for the foreseeable future. Anyway, this is as uncertain as the industry has been in a while. So, you have to be prepared to be proven wrong. #startup

Job seekers only need to upload the resume and add details to their profile. 3. Companies need to look at the database of resumes, and search for the candidates they need. 4. Job seekers has the option to apply for specific jobs. But it is only optional because companies are always searching in the databases. 5. Job seekers and employers could communicate with each other 6. Current employees actually helping job seekers in some real way with suggestions on the right certifications to pursue or giving mock interviews or discussion group sessions with job seekers for free.
