Disneyland Paris Hotel Charming Christmas Decorations and 2018 Gingerbread House

The Disneyland Paris Hotel has lovely Christmas decorations including this year Gingerbread House, two giant Christmas trees, one in the hotel lobby and the other in the Castle Club rotunda, surrounded by plushs, toys, and even electric trains. Both Max and Robert Stallard, regular D&M contributors have shot pictures of these and you have below their pictures, starting by those of Robert that you can follow on his Facebook page HERE.

Exclusive Pictures of Disneyland Paris Hotel Castle Club Secret "Founders Room"

Thanks to D&M faithful reader Robert Stallard we have more exclusive pictures of  Disneyland Paris Hotel Castle Club secret "Founders Room". As i told you in a previous article two weeks ago, due to the closure for renovation, the "Inventions" restaurant has been transferred temporarily to the California Grill restaurant where the popular breakfast with Disney characters is currently happening. Apparently the California Grill has been moved in the Founders Room which is located in the "Castle Club" on the 3rd floor.

Now, since the article was posted i've been told by a D&M reader that the Founders Room could become a new restaurant in the Disneyland Paris hotel, with the goal to have a 2 Stars Michelin restaurant. So far, so good. But on the other hand i've also been told that it might not be exactly that. As i've said, the Founders Room is located in the Castle Club section of the hotel, where there is already a private breakfast lounge and the rooms there are also more expensive than the floors below as they are on the higher floors and have the best views on the park. You can only enter the castle club by a special elevator where you need a special keycard for. A standard room for 4 people with two double beds next to each other will cost you around 1000€ per night and the suite rooms can go up to several thousands euros per night. So, the Castle Club is not for average guests.

Apparently it has always been a request from the Castle Club members to have "their" own private high end restaurant. Currently, the Founders room is mostly used for business meetings or for corporate companies private events but it seems that there is talks about doing a high end restaurant here but.... there is also some issues and so far it's not certain that it will be done. What is sure as you'll see on the pictures below is that the place, with its slightly art-deco style and furniture, is classy enough to make a great restaurant there.

No doubt, the Founders Room is a great place to watch Disneyland Paris firework at night!

Disneyland Paris Hotel California Grill Restaurant Transferred to the Castle Club Founders Room - And Why the Founders Room Would be a Great Place to Create a Club 33 at DLP

D&M faithful reader Robert Stallard informed me that the Disneyland Paris Hotel Inventions restaurant is in renovation until February and has been moved to the California Grill restaurant nearby. During that time the California Grill has been moved upstairs to the Castle Club Founders Room on the 3rd floor, the same room from where Robert watched the fireworks during his "Sparkling Experience" dinner last month. Guests access to the Founders Room with the Castle Club private lift. The characters dining and breakfast which normally happen at the Inventions are now happening in the California Grill where Inventions has been moved.

As you'll see on the pictures below coming from Robert it looks nice in the Founders Room and it confirms what i think since a while, i.e that the Founders room would be a great place to create a Club 33 at Disneyland Paris. DLP execs probably have thought about having a Club 33 at DLP and one of the reasons why there is no Club 33 might be because they won't find French ( or others Europeans ) willing to pay the huge amount of money which is required to be part of a Club 33. It's a pity as the Founders Room really would be perfect for a Club 33, not only it's one of the best place to watch DLP fireworks at night... but half of the theming is already there, with the old books, old style furniture, etc... It would be very easy to include additional theming which probably wouldn't cost a lot to create in the Founders room a Club 33.
