Disneyland Paris Launch the Festival of the Lion King and the Jungle Book ! Full Shows Videos

Disneyland Paris launched this week-end its awaited Festival of the Lion King and the Jungle Book which include a show and parade on Central Plaza and the new Lion King show inside the rebuilt Frontierland Theatre, known previously as the Chapparal Stage.

Let's start with a video showing actress Katie Holmes opening the festival during the press event this week-end, with excerpts of the shows.




Here is the French version of the video with French stars and their reactions to the shows.




The first video below will show you the full Rhythms of the Jungle show and parade happening on Central Plaza! Costumes and choreography clearl looks in direction of India and Bollywood, which in my opinion is a good idea!




















And here is the brand new Lion King and the Rhythms of the Pride Lands show playing four times per day at 12.30, 13.30, 16.05 and 17.05 inside the freshly rebuilt Frontierland theatre!










Even if the music and songs are the same than we all love, it's a different kind of show than the broadway musical or the one that DLP did years ago inside Videopolis and i think they did a pretty good job, have a look at the video of the show!




Don't go away as there is more! Some weeks ago Disneyland Paris organized a contest with one night to win in Adventureland Jungle! The lucky couple who won came recently to enjoy the promised night in the jungle and i have to say that DLP has not been cheap on the setting with jungle tents placed near the Indiana Jones ride, check the picture below.



There was more for the winners with a special evening with Baloo and King Louis characters, as you 'll see in the video below!

Disneyland Paris Update : Last Tours for Space Mountain Mission Two, Pirates of Caribbean Original Version, and more - Plus: First Footage of the WDS Star Wars Projection Show !

First Disneyland Paris update of the year which began with the closure for a few months of two of DLP main attractions which will reopen this Spring with new theming or additional effects. Here we go with plenty of great videos from Max, D&M contributor and DLP Welcome webmaster!



Space Mountain : Mission 2 close forever at Disneyland Paris on January 8 and in April a unique version of Hyperspace Mountain titled Star wars Hyperspace Mountain : Rebel Mission will open during the 25th anniversary and will probably stay for several years!








Max has filmed a HD video of the last tour of Mission 2 and here it is!




Disneyland Paris released a new visual for the upcoming Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain : Rebels Mission which also show the new design / colors of the trains - as changes on the trains are expected and will reduce the G-shocks during the ride which is good news!




January 8 was also the last day for Disneyland Paris Pirates of Caribbean ride in its original version. The ride will close until July and will re-open with the Jack Sparrow Audio-Animatronics and new special effects. It was the last POTC ride of all Disney parks still with its original version, and to say the truth, i'm not sure it's a real good idea to don't keep it like it was. The only good news is that if one day they want to bring back the original version they'll be able to do it easily, something that won't be that easy to do with DCA Tower of Terror currently being transformed at California Adventure in a Guardians of Galaxy ride...

Final Curtain also for the Nighttime show « Disney Dreams! Of Christmas » ! On march 25, 2017, it will be the turn of the classic and original version of « Disney Dreams! » to make room for « Disney illumination » the new show for the 25th anniversary.

On the Walt Disney Studios Place of the Stars, technical facilities continued to be installed for the Star Wars Season of the Force projection show on the Tower of Terror facade, which start this weekend!







And Disneyland Paris released today an official video showing the first images of this "Star Wars : A Galactic Celebration" projection show!




The wonderful show of « Mickey and the Magician » stops for 2 months, it’s time to said « thank you » to the cast and production team with a video of the last performance.




Last but not least, here are the maps for both parks for the month of January showing only what is open.

Disneyland Paris Update : Parks Renovations And Spring Season Press Event

We'll start the week with a new Disneyland Paris update as Max, D&M collaborator and DLPWelcome webmaster is back with great pictures - and videos - on DLP renovations and of the press event! Please note, as i told you last time, that the stock of the Disneyland Paris book is running low, so it's the right time to place your order for a copy of this gorgeous book before it'll be out of stock! We'll start by the Walt Disney Studios Park where the fountain of Mickey greets the visitor at the entrance.

The park was quite empty this week-end, at least when Max shot the pictures...

The Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is closed until 17 june for a unknown renovation.

Many of WDS visitors forget that it is possible to meet and greet with Spider-Man...

Belle is appearing in the Ratatouille Parisian area. It's a pity that it is not Remy, it would have been more logical.

Animagique theater is undergoing renovation for the new show « Mickey and the magician » starting early Summer.

O-Kay, let's move to Disneyland Park.

At the Fantasia Garden, the soil renovation is still in progress. 

The cobblestones with guests names have been removed and most probably they will not come back. Just like Michael Jackson, unfortunately.

Below, a part which is finished.

The rest of the decorations of DLP 20th anniversary of Disneyland (April 2012 to August 2014) was finally removed with the renovation of the station of Main Street USA.

Let’s go to Goofy’s Garden Party !

In four days will happen the final voyage of Star Tours to Endor. DLP was the last park in the world to offer this first version until March 16, 2016, nearly 7 years after the American parks closed their first version.

The Astroport post-show is now empty, all the video games have been removed!

Minnie’s Little Spring Train is on our road! In this press event day, the Cheshire cat of Alice in Wonderland is exceptionally on the train.

At Frontierland, Frontierland Depot station is like new with its renovated roof. The result is striking!

Disneyland Paris Railroad has reopened today. Two stations on the four are accessible, Frontierland and Fantasyland, and because of the many attractions closed for renovation on the Park, the stations had a 60 minutes wait.

Phantom Manor: the waiting time is so long on this Saturday to be able to access the area from which we can view the works progress on Big Thunder Mountain.
