Main Street Electrical Parade Returns to Disneyland From August 2 till September 30th & “Mickey’s Soundsational Parade” Will End on July 17 !

Disney Parks just announced that the Main Street Electrical Parade returns to Disneyland this Summer from August 2nd till September 30th!

"If you didn’t think summer at the Disneyland Resort could get any better, you may want to sit down for this. An all-time fan favorite, a “spectacular festival pageant of nighttime magic and imagination,” is coming back to Disneyland park for a limited-time encore engagement! That’s right, the Main Street Electrical Parade, along with its half-million sparkling lights and “electro-syntho-magnetic musical sounds” will once again create magical summer memories for guests of all ages.

This limited-time encore engagement is set to begin on Aug. 2 with nightly performances through Sept. 30."

Talking about Disneyland parades, Disney Parks also announced that the “Mickey’s Soundsational Parade” "is livening up Disneyland park, now through July 17. This popular parade puts music in motion with Disney characters, performers and two new parade floats, which debuted earlier this year. Mickey starts the party in a larger-than-life opening as he and his drum corps kick off a lively, musical procession with Disney characters. Next, Chip ‘n’ Dale arrive with a giant new celebration cake, followed by Goofy pulling another new float, inspired by the classic and nostalgic Mickey pull toys. Hope you can catch this fan-favorite before its run ends on July 17."

Disneyland released an amazing commercial for the return of Main Street Electrical Parade showing a woman passing in front of every iconic Disneyland extinct attraction in less than 20 seconds before bringing the final light to illuminate Elliot in the Main Street Electrical Parade.




Now Mousegamer Presents has found most ( if not all! ) easter eggs hidden in this new MSEP commercial!

Main Street Electrical Parade End at WDW Magic Kingdom on October 9, Will Head Then to Disneyland resort For Limited Time

The Disney Parks blog confirmed that Main Street Electrical Parade will end at Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom on October 9, and then will head to Disneyland Resort for a limited time, and probably for a last farewell:

"The Main Street Electrical Parade, Magic Kingdom Park’s long-running nighttime parade, will officially end its historic run at Walt Disney World Resort on October 9 and then head to Disneyland Resort for a limited-time encore engagement. We wanted you to be among the first to know while there’s still time to plan a trip to Walt Disney World Resort to enjoy the magic and nostalgia of the parade one last time.



Main Street Electrical Parade is a nighttime procession filled with glowing, spinning floats that honor favorite Disney characters. Animated Disney films that are represented include “Alice In Wonderland,” “Cinderella” and more. During the parade, Tinker Bell lights the way with a wave of her wand and orchestrates half a million shimmering lights synchronized to a memorable soundtrack.

If you’re planning to visit the Walt Disney World Resort for our fall experiences and see the parade one last time at Magic Kingdom Park before it ends its run, please keep in mind that Main Street Electrical Parade is not offered on Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party nights. Wouldn't it be cool to have your own Main Street Electrical Parade going all along Main Street U.S.A in your own home? Well,  Alex George did it, and not only he did it, but he did it amazingly perfectly thanks to Robert Olzewski Disneyland Main Street miniatures buildings and a clever mechanized route as well as computer-controlled lighting.

New Disneyland Nightastic Videos !

Disney released a new "Nightastic" video and this is one is longer - and better - than the previous one. Have a look!






And for those of you - just like me - who won't be able to go to Disneyland this summer here is a two part video of the Nightastic fireworks - including the sequence with Dumbo flying over the castle - as well as one of the new Main Street Electrical Parade at DCA both shot in High-Definition by HV10N90!
