It's a Small World Ad video celebrate children of all nations

Disney Parks has released a really nice advertising video for the Christmas season of It's a Small World. Frankly, it's done with tenderness and it reproduces perfectly the childhood spirit of the attraction. This reminds me that "It's a Small World Celebration", a kind of Christmas version of IASW will begin at DLP November 21st!

Last wednesday you saw my article on the Neverland theme park project, but as you will see this Ad also have some Peter Pan spirit. Enjoy!

Hong Kong Disneyland It's a small world inauguration high-res pictures and videos

I promised you four days ago the photos of Hong Kong Disneyland It's a small world's inauguration on April 27, and here they are, in glorious high-resolution!

Everything began with a parade in a Main Street and the rope drop moment, with children from all over the world, and, of course children from Hong Kong.

Here is a short youtube video of it

During the celebration the Walt Disney Company announced the recipients of the first grants from the Disney Children’s Fund. Created by TWDC’s Worldwide Outreach group, the HK$1 million Fund was established as part of a pilot program to address the needs of children in the Hong Kong community. And yes, the man on the left is Jay Rasulo, in person, live from Hong Kong!

Talking about Jay, here he is again, for the Dedication Celebration speech, with the financial secretary of the Hong Kong special administrative region Government, John Tsang ...

And here they are again in one of the first boat of IASW !

In another boat, Ursule Wong, daughter of legendary lyricist James Wong, was presented with a plaque to commemorate the legacy of her father’s famous “it’s a small world” lyrics for the cantonese version. The Cantonese verses composed by James Wong more than 30 years ago still remain popular to this day in Asia.

As always in this kind of event the evening ended with a show and great fireworks!

Here is a short video of the finale!

New Hong Kong Disneyland's It's a small world Videos !

Although the attraction is not officially open yet - it will be April 28 - the first videos of Hong Kong Disneyland's It's a Small World already appeared on youtube.

Here are some good videos below, but if you're planning to go to HKD soon, beware of spoilers!

At first view, i like this new version, specially because the colours and lighting looks very different than the DLP version. And there are many different scenes, too!
The new Disney characters are introduced for the first time, so it will help you to have an opinion about how it may look if Disney proceed to introduce them at Disneyland, Anaheim.

Enjoy the video, it's not every day that there is video of a new attraction!

Here is another video, this time divided in four parts.

And finally, a video of the outside and the clock show.

Youtube videos thanks to Mondaysmorning, Royal311 and hkdisneycrazy that i thanks a lot.

First pictures of Hong Kong Disneyland It's a small world

As a big debate is growing little by little about the new version of Mary Blair's It's a small world attraction at Disneyland, Anaheim, the first pictures of the HKD version are released.

The attraction will be officially open to the public on April 28, 2008, and a countdown was launched on march 27.

Let's begin by some details of the facade, which looks familiar...

And, yes, Disney characters are now include in the decor, and all of you who worry about what could happen to the future new DLR version should have a look at the pictures below, beginning by the farwest scene with Woody...

A close shot of Woody and Jessie...

The oriental scene with Aladdin...

The Little Mermaid scene...

The Hawaian scene with the Stitch character...

A Paris scene with one of the Aristocats character...

And the Cinderella and her Prince scene. I must say that, at the exception of Stitch that i find a bit too much cartoonish, the introduction of the other characters are quite well done, in the "Small World" style.

Let's have a look at other scenes, beginning by the Japan...

The China scene...

Guests will discover a brand new "Hong Kong" scene...

Here is a tribute to Thailand...

The Jungle scene...

A close shot on the hippo...

And the famous Rain forest scene.

Let's end with a colder country, with the Canada scene, and i think it's Pocahontas that we can see in the background.
