Bolt Dvd released next week with new animated short " Super Rhino " !

Bolt Dvd and Blue-Ray Editions will be released next tuesday March 24. That's already good news, but there will be something else - and great - included in both editions.
No, i'm not talking about the usual and always welcome "making-of" but more about the new animated short "Super Rhino", starring of course Rhino - Bolt's funny character.

Well, it seems that someone has already received the Dvd as "Super Rhino" is now uploaded on Youtube...

First UP! trailer , Final Bolt trailer, and more...

Let's end this week-end with four trailers of awaited animated movies, and the first one is the first trailer of Pixar's "UP!".

The second one is the final Bolt trailer - remember the movie will be released soon, on Nov 21!

Here is the first trailer for the Dream Works animated "Monsters Vs Aliens". It will be released March 2009, in 3D, and it looks good!

Universal's production called "The Tale of Despereaux" will be released this Christmas, and the animation looks good, too. It's a modern medieval fairy tale from filmmaker Gary Ross, together with directors Sam Fell & Rob Stevenhagen.

And a bonus one just for the fun - it's not an animated movie trailer, but "Fanboys" is the ultimate Star Wars fans movie! It's 1998 and Star Wars fanboys across the globe eagerly await the release of Episode I. But for Eric, Linus, Hutch and Windows the term "fanboy" is more than just a title, it's a badge of honor. Spurred by impatience and an undying loyalty to their cause, these former high school friends reunite to undertake the road trip of their fan-tasies. Traveling West across the country to visit their Mecca - George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch - the plan is to break in, steal the film and stake their claim as the first fanboys in history to watch it!

You got the idea? Okay, it's gonna be dumb, but probably fun.

Free Bolt App Game for the IPhone - IPod Touch available now on ITunes App Store

A new application game for the IPhone and Ipod Touch was released two days ago on the Itunes App Store, and it's a BOLT game! And the game is FREE! That's a news that should delight those of you who own an IPhone or an IPod Touch, however i have to moderate any enthusiasm, and here is why.

First let me describe this Bolt app game. The application include the game, and two videos - the official trailer and a TV special commercial. Nothing that we've not seen before, but quite good image quality.

The game itself is all about the character Rhino the Hamster who is on a roll and trying to get to his favorite super dog - Bolt - as fast as he can.

All you have to do - thanks to the Iphone accelerometer - is to tilt your IPhone forward, backwards, left or right to guide Rhino through the city streets, avoiding cars and other obstacles on your way to the finish line.

On your way, you can collect bonus lightning bolts and hit the launching ramps for a - as they say - "fully awesome adventure".

Okay, this app game is free, and it's a good point, i agree. But first the app weight is 94,4 MB (!) which is incredibly heavy, probably because of the movie clips weight included in the application. However, it means that the app will take a lot of your available "space" on your IPhone-IPod Touch and, considering that people are downloading like crazy the applications of the App Store ( Apple announced yesterday that 200 millions applications were downloaded since the opening of the App Store in July ) i think it's a bit of a marketing strategy mistake to have released a such "heavy" application, even free.

The other problem is with the game itself. Graphics are simple but most of all, as i've said, basically all what you have to do is to guide Rhino through the streets, avoiding cars and other obstacles, and at the same time, collect the Bolt lightnings. The main problem is that - except the Rhino ball - everything is static. I mean, the cars don't move, nothing is moving, and it's a pity as it would have been much more fun to guide this little hamster in its ball through a dangerous "moving" traffic...

Anyway, the game is free, so if you have enough space available on your IPhone-IPod Touch, give it a try, you'll find it on the ITunes App Store under the name "Rhinoball".

Don't know yet if you want to see " Bolt " ? Have a look at these movie clips below !

Another new movie clip from the awaited Bolt animated was released yesterday, and here is a collection of the different Bolt movie clips . If you don't know yet if you will go to see this new Disney animated next month, this should help you. But warning! these videos below are great, but of course full of spoilers...

Okay, if you're still reading, here is first the official trailer to have a basic idea of the story-line. I remember you that Bolt is the story of a dog
who plays a heroic dog in a hit TV show and has some trouble recognizing that he doesn't really have superpowers in the real world.

The movie clip below is the last one released yesterday, where Bolt meets pigeons in New York City. in this funny sequence, the pigeons swear they know him from somewhere, but cannot figure it out...

If you want to watch only one of these movie clips, watch this next one! Called "the chase", it's a sequence from one of bolt's TV episodes and it's just as spectacular as an action sequence from a good summer blockbuster movie!

In this last video, you'll see another sequence from Bolt's TV episodes as well as another clip of Bolt and his friends in the "real life", trying to rescue the cat character.

Tinker Bell thinks her fairy talent as a “tinker” isn’t as special or important as the other fairies’ talents. But when Tink tries to change who she is, she creates nothing but disaster! With encouragement from her friends Rosetta, Silvermist, Fawn and Iridessa, Tink learns the key to solving her problems lies in her unique tinker abilities…and discovers that when she’s true to herself, magical things can happen.

2008 MOVIE PREVIEW SPECIAL

2008 begin in 3 days, and here is a special movie preview with photos and trailers, when available.
For each of them i give you the release date in the USA.

Let's begin by Disney animated features. Of course, the most awaited of all is Pixar's Wall-E, release june 27.
I've already talk about it, so here is above a new picture and, below, the last trailer. For more infos about it, please see my previous posts.

The other Walt Disney animated will be "Bolt", schedule to be release on november 26. Here is a first picture. No trailer yet available.

Always in the "animation" category, but not from Disney, two movies on which i have a good feeling.
November 7 will be the date for Madagascar: The Crate Escape . No trailer yet available, but picture below.

And the other one is "Dr Seuss Horton Hears A Who " release on march 14, and i have an even better feeling on this one, as it is directed by the guys who did the Ice Age movies. Pictures and trailer below.

2008 will also be the year of the second Narnia movie , with Prince Caspian, release on may 16.

If you're fan or archeologist heroes, two movies should make your day. The first one is of course the highly awaited Indiana Jones and the temple of the crystal skull. And it's for may 22.

Here is some images of the shooting in the USA and Hawai.

The other archeologist hero will be back august 1 in the Mummy 3: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor.
As you probably already understood, the action this time is in China, and the production did a fantastic job with the recreation of Shangai, circa 1948, as you will see if you click HERE, and here are some pictures.

Another movie will bring us back in time, in 10000 BC, precisely. It is directed by Roland "The day after tomorrow" Emmerich, and it will be release soon, on march 7.

In the Marvel super-heroes category, the Iron Man will touch down in the theatres on may 2. And great
actor Robert Downey Jr is playing Tony Stark/Iron Man.

The other one is the new Hulk movie, played this time by another fantastic actor : Edward Norton, so the movie should be much better than the previous one.
No trailer yet available, but here are some pics. Release on june 13.

A new Harry Potter will also be release november 21, and a Batman "Dark night" on july 18.
But a good surprise may come from the new movie of the Wachowski brothers. After their "Matrix" trilogy, this new movie release may 9 looks pretty exciting. Okay, it may remember you a video game, but i think that, visually speaking, it may be stunning. Click on the image below to see what i mean.
